Custodian Bank

Bank of Valletta (BOV), Malta, acts as Custodian Bank for the assets of the Fund. BOV is one of the two leading banks in the Maltese market. Bank of Valletta Stock Brokers Limited (BOVSL) will act as brokers in the buying and selling of equities and currencies. Bank of Valletta p.l.c. was incorporated in Malta as a limited liability company in 1974. It is licensed to carry on the business of banking as a credit institution in terms of the Banking Act 1994 and is a custodian licensed by MFSA. It is the parent company of the Bank of Valletta Group, which is actively involved in the provision of a comprehensive range of financial services in Malta.

An independent qualified accountant will carry out the functions of accountant to the Company and to carry out all accounting work in relation to the Company.

Bank of Valletta p.l.c. was appointed as the Custodian of the Fund pursuant to the Custodian Agreement dated 16th July 2004 (the “Custodian Agreement”). By virtue of this Custodian Agreement, the appointment of Bank of Valletta p.l.c. as Custodian entails the responsibility to provide custody and safe keeping services in relation to the Fund’s assets.

Fund Administration

The fund administration duties are performed by Valletta Fund Services Limited, Malta. Valletta Fund Services Limited is the successor of Valletta Fund Management Limited, the latter having been established in 1995 as the first fund administration company in Malta. VFS is recognized by MFSA as a fund administration company. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of Valletta.
