The Investment Manager of the Timeless Energy Fund has the right to appoint a team of up to five professionals with varied expertise in the fields of energy, engineering and finance. The role of this Board is consultative by nature and allows the Investment Manager to get a broader perspective of things when executing its function.
The purpose of the Board is to independently analyze political, geopolitical, foreign exchange and economic situations on a global scale and draw conclusions as to their potential influences on oil, gas, uranium and environmental markets and – as a consequence – their likely developments in the foreseeable future.
The Board holds regular formal meetings, but its members are also regularly in contact with the Investment Manager and other experts in the sector, so accordingly the board does gain valuable, additional input to assist it in its duties.
The current Advisory Board Members are :
Following 3 years with Pierson, Heldring&Pierson in The Hague and Amsterdam, Mr. Boeye opened and ran the offices of Patrick Partners, Australian stock brokers, in Brussels for 6 years. Having moved to London, he was responsible for the European Institutional desk at Dominion Securities – Canadian Investment Bankers. In 1980 he moved to Zurich, and ran the office of Nesbitt Thomson&Co. Canadian brokers for 11 years before joining the board of Auriga International Fund Managers. Auriga International manages a “market neutral” hedge fund, an “Alternative Strategies” fund, and the “Global Macro" fund.
Maarten's experience with Patrick Partners, Dominion Securities, and Nesbitt Thomson, gave him extensive exposure to the natural resources field throughout Australia and Canada.

Mr Hug has over 20 years experience in the financial services industr and has a deep understanding of financial markets and extensive knowledge in various fields of the financial industry. Mr Hug began studying economics and economic law at the University of St.Gall in 1977. He successfully finished his studies in 1981 with a master degree in business administration (lic.oec.HSG). Following his studies, he embarked on several years of experience, mainly in the fields of financial analysis and in portfolio management for private investors and a large swiss institutional investor. Starting point was Sulzer Brothers AG in Winterthur in the Finance Department. Mr. Hug continued with Swiss Volksbank in Zurich (financial analysis), Winterthur Insurance in Winterthur (portfolio management), Orconsult SA in Zurich (portfolio management), Provalis Investment AG in Zurich (portfolio management) and Rahn&Bodmer Banquiers in Zurich (financial analysis). In 2008 Mr Hug established his own financial advisory company in Zurich.
